We are very fortunate to have some wondeful guests come to stay at Glebe. Here's what some of them have said about their stay...

Glebe Cottage Colonsay is centrally located on an idyllic Island off the West Coast of Scotland & accessed via ferry from Oban.

The cottage itself is a well maintained house halfway between a home & a holiday home with all the amenities you would ever need for a restful holiday & all enclosed in a large pet friendly garden.

Lounge, kitchen & bedrooms are all well looked after & the beds are particularly comfortable & this coupled with fresh sea air you will enjoy a very peaceful time just savouring the magnificent views of the islands of Jura & Islay.

The cottage is located well within walking distance of the village shop & eating places including the island hotel/pub & is a great central location for touring the island, it’s beaches & seeing the wonderful wildlife including eagles but the greatest bonus are the islanders themselves, so friendly & helpful should you ever need them.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have already booked for next year – happy days so thanks again Rowena."

We were delighted with our 1 week stay in Glebe cottage during May 2022. Great situation as close to shop ,cafe and ferry terminal . A very comfortable cottage especially the beds -which was such a bonus. Great place to watch the ferry boat coming and going and the ever changing view of Jura . Would definitely recommend it . Just the place for a relaxing holiday.
